Welcome to your new Exchange Mailbox: First Steps

Sign in to your Mailbox using the Outlook Web Access client

The very first thing you should do with your new Hosted Exchange Mailboxafter is to change your password. This is best done by signing in to the web based interface for your mailbox.

1. In the address field of your web browser, open the URL apps.rackspace.com.
2. Sign in with your full email address and the temporary password you were given.

Outlook Web App: First Time Use Settings

Because your mailbox is brand new on our Hosted Exchange system, it will ask you to set your language and Time Zone. Choose appropriately and click Save.

Outlook Web App: Change Your Password

Welcome to the Outlook Web App. Note that Outlook Web App can be used in any web browser to check your Email, read and edit your Contacts, work with your Calendar, and manage your Task list.

To change your temporary password, pull down the Settings menu (the "gear" icon in the top right of your browser window) and choose Change password.
